6.12 Activities and support from the Parent -Teacher Association

Regular parent teacher meetings organized at College & department level. The feed-back from the
parents was taken. The suggestions given by parents incorporated by the college administration in
the college development policies. College had given the responsibilities of 20-35 students to every
faculty member for their mentoring. Parent teacher meetings of under graduate students were
organized on 29-01-2018. Student progress, problems and status of attendance etc. were discussed in

these meetings. Student–teacher- Parent meetings for postgraduate classes were organized on
29.01.2018 in all PG.

6.13 Development programmes for support staff

Faculty member of each department trained their supporting staff for proper functioning of
laboratory work time to time.

6.14 Initiatives taken by the institution to make the campus eco-friendly

1- Time to time plantation in different areas of college were done by students, NSS, NCC and
staff member to maintain green day
2- Ban of plastic glasses, cups, plastic in canteen & college premises
3- Each department were authorized to maintain green & clean environment in front of there
premises. Botany and Zoology department have developed new green corners
4- Vending machine & burn unit for sanitary napkins in 2 wash rooms were installed.
5- Solarization with installation of 10 KW solar energy plant is in process.
6- 2 rain water harvesting system are functional
7- Green audit is done every year.
8- Botanical garden is being maintained by UG students of Botany
9- Environmental Project: 135 potted plants given by students of BSc I Year.
