6.3.2   Teaching and Learning
              01-  The  strategies  adopted  by  the  institute  to  make  curriculum  more  beneficial  to  give  students  update

              knowledge to develop comprehension power of the progress of the students following steps were Taken .

              02- Curriculum development –

                         I- Vocational – New topics in lab course were Introduce job requirement.

                         II- Were given to the students which in PG projects linked them to institutes.
                         III- Local needs and new topics in the P.G. classes were introduced.

              03- STUDENT CENTRIC LEARNING –

                         I- ICT based teaching, teaching through LCD projector use of e-books, downloading education
                         videos and literature through online learning platform were promoted along with traditional talk
                         and blackboard method.

                         II-  Linkage  &  collaboration  –  visit  to  advance  laboratories,  education  excursion  tour  for  field
                          related subject, visit to industries were promoted.

                          III- Mentoring / faculty exchange - To get exposure to the knowledge of eminent scientist and to
                         develop  the  attitude  of  interaction  with  the  learned  persons  of  the  respective  field,  extension
                          lecture were organized.

                          IV-  Student  centric  learning:  In  Flipped  class  room,  the  topic is  given  to  students  in advance.
                         Students come prepared and present the topic, discuss in groups. The role of teacher is that of a
                         facilitator. This is an important teaching tool for student centric learning.

                          VII- Learning by teaching  - To make students learn while teaching, students of higher classes are
                         make to teach students of lower classes in theory and lab courses .


                       6.3.3   Examination and Evaluation

               01-   Fair Evaluation - for fair evolution 50% of the paper are sent to the evaluators outside the institution

                     and university.

               02-   Continuous  evaluation  –  for  continuous  evaluation  of  the  students  of  under  graduate,  unit  tests,
                     quarterly  half  yearly  and  annual  examinations  are  conducted  and  for  P.G.  students  internal

                     assessment test are organised twice in a  semester along with semester exam.

               03-   Comprehensive evaluation – To develop comprehensive power of the students about their respective
                     subjects question paper pattern are designed in pattern of Multiple Choice Questions, short answers

                     and long answers type questions. This pattern evaluates knowledge and comprehensive power of the

                     students.

               04-   Communication skill – Seminars are conducted in the post graduate and under graduate students to
                     developed  confidence  in  their  respective  subjects  and  to  develop  communication  skill,  based  on

                     which evaluation is done .

               05-   Deep learning and practical applications of the subject – students are allotted project which enable
                     them to have in depth knowledge and applied aspect of the subjects of the subject, based on which

                     their projects evaluation is done .
