6.3.6 Human Resource Management

Academic leadership- Faculty members are encouraged to design and develop curriculum as per the area

specific needs, recent development in their subjects and vocational needs of students.

Continuous Professional Development: Faculty member are encouraged for continuous professional
development and update themselves by attending conference seminars, presentation their research work,

publish and disseminate the knowledge acquired. Provide academic consultancy.

Multidimensional growth of students: Lots of co curricular and extra- curricular activities are organized
like field visits, industrial visits & projects, lab visits, interdisciplinary lectures. A strong system of

mentoring, counselling and feed back is developed through which students communicate their needs and
resolve their problems.

6.3.7 Faculty and Staff recruitment

Public Service Commission of the state recruits teaching faculty. Higher education department of the

state government recruits supporting staff. The College sends its request to fill the vacancy to HE

directorate periodically. Mean while the College appoints Guest faculty on contract basis against the
vacant post on merit basis for fixed duration in the academic session.

6.3.8 Industry Interaction / Collaboration

01- Students are motivated to take up industry based projects in collaboration with nearby
industries

02- Industry representatives are invited as members of IQAC, members of Board of studies to
encourage collaborations.

03- Departments are motivated to sign more Academic MoUs with industry for future
collaborations.

04- Industry- Academia collaboration will be strengthen further with development of start up
ecosystem through career and placement cell

6.3.9 Admission of Students

Admission in UG and PG classes is online from the session 2016-17. Students fill the admission
form online. Admission is done as per the rules formulated by the state Government. Admission

process is entirely based on merit at UG and PG level. The reservation policy of the Government of
Chhattisgarh is followed and reservation in admission is given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically
Challenged/ Women. The details of admission rules are also given in the prospectus. Students filled
forms online.
