5.8 Details of gender sensitization programmes
01- With 51% female faculty member and 55% female students this college has a dominance of women
in almost all the departments. This has been the key factor behind a healthy and non oppressive
work culture for women in the campus.
02- The College has a Gender Equity Cell and Women Harassment Cell, but rarely are serious
complaints received regarding women harassment. As a healthy practice, there is a Gender Audit
every year.
03- Mahila Protsahan Purskar is a scheme under which girls securing highest marks in various streams
are awarded with cash prizes worth 11000 /-
