Training Workshop/Seminar
Session 2015-16
1. One day workshop was jointly organized by Dept. of Information Technology and Dept. of Computer Science on “Distributing Computing and Network Communication” Dated 29 September 2015.
Context – The purpose of distributed computing is to provide a global environment for all business, organizational and research-related activities. The communication network is used for information exchange, interaction and co-ordination among the various processes. This symposium brings together a community of researchers, developers, practitioners and user involved with Distributed Computing and Network communications to guide the future development.
Aims/Objectives
Activity/Minutes – First session of symposium is delivered by Dr. O.P. Vyas. Dr. Vyas has represented What is Distributed Computing?, Component of Distributed Computing and tells about future development of Distributed Computing in field of IT. Second session of symposium is reprehended by Dr. Sanjay Kumar. He is Telling about Network Communication and network devices which are uses in Network Communication.
Evidences –
Impact Analysis – This Symposium is beneficial for research scholars and students, they have got the knowledge about the basics of Network Communication.
2. SPITL Education sponsored One day workshop was jointly organized by Dept. of Information Technology and Dept. of Computer Science on “Multimedia and computer Network” was held on 29 September 2015.
3. UGC & RUSA sponsored Workshop on “Capacity Building Workshop on Laboratory Techniques & Maintenance” was held on 20 November 2015.
Session 2017-18
1. Two days UGC and CGCOST sponsored National workshop was jointly organized by Dept. of Mathematics, Dept. Of Information Technology and Dept. of Computer Science on “Cryptography and Network Security” from dated 5th- 6th October 2017.
Context – Network Security is concern with the protection of network resources against alteration, destruction and unauthorized used, Cryptography and Encryption are most critical components of network security. Cryptography is one of the most important techniques applied in computer security which can ensure the confidentiality of data, theintegrity or correctness of the data and provide methods to control access to the data.
Aims/Objectives – The aim of the workshop is to bring Scientists, Researchers, Professionals, Teachers, and Students from various Institutes, Universities, and Colleges to impart and exchange their views and share knowledge in the area of Cryptography and network security. Our motto is to seek co-operation at national level and establish strong relationship of sharing knowledge with each other. Your valuable contribution and active participation will help us to achieve our aim.
Evidences –
Impact Analysis - This Workshop is beneficial for research scholars and students, they have got the knowledge about Network Security.
